Sami Al-Na’ash: We hope to overcome the mistakes

Yemeni coach Sami Al-Na’ash admitted the difficulty of the match against the host team in the second round of the Gulf 24.

“A very difficult game awaits us because of the two teams losing in their opening game. This is the Gulf Cup,” he told the news conference.

“I hope the team will be in the best shape and the defenders will be more focused, and we expect the hosts to attack so I hope we do not make any defensive mistakes,” he said.

“Since the West Asian Championship, the level varies from stage to stage. It is the physical and mental presence that leads any team to be present at the best image. We hope to provide a good level against Qatar.”

On the mission after the match: “The task of each coach after any match is to correct the mistakes made by the team. We hope that the team is mentally present, and the young players need constant matches to gain more experience.”

Al-Na’ash called on the Yemeni media to stand with the team and not only look for the negatives.
