The Saudi Federation: The number of the teams qualified for the quarter-finals of the King’s Cup has been completed

The number of the teams qualified for the quarter-final round of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup for the 2022-2023 sports season has been completed.

Al-Batin, Al-Fateh and Al-Ittihad teams joined the quarter-finalists, to join Al-Fayhaa, Al-Hilal, Al-Nasr, Al-Wahda and Abha.

The final price round competitions were concluded on Thursday with 3 matches, where Al-Batin defeated its guest Al-Raed with a clean goal scored by the player Youssef Al-Shammari.

Al-Fateh qualified for the quarter-finals after defeating its guest Al-Batin with a penalty shootout 7-6 after the end of the original and extra time in a 2-2 draw, as Al-Fateh advanced first through Murad Patna before Knowledge Musuna equalized the score for the guests, so the two teams ruled for additional time that saw Al-Fateh advance again through Petros Matthews, before Al-Tai returned with a goal in the last minutes through Khalil Al-Absi.

Al-Ittihad reserved the last seats in the quarter-finals after defeating Al-Shabab by penalty kicks 4-3 after the end of the original and extra time in a 1-1 draw, as Mutib Al-Harbi advanced to Al-Shabab first before the player Abdul Razzaq Hamdallah equalized the score for the owners of the land.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup final price competitions started on Tuesday with two matches, which witnessed Al-Wehda’s victory over Damak with a clean goal, and Al-Fayhaa’s victory over Al-Khaleej, 3-1.

The final price competitions continued on Wednesday with 3 matches, which saw Abha defeat Al-Taawoun 4-3, Al-Hilal beat Al-Ettifaq 4-0, and Al-Nasr beat Al-Adalah 2-0.

All the quarter-final matches were determined, as Al-Fayhaa, the defending champion, will face Al-Ittihad, while Al-Hilal will receive its counterpart Al-Fateh, while Al-Batin will be the guest of Al-Wahd, while Al-Nasr will receive its guest, Abha.

The quarter-final matches will be held on March 13 and 14, with the date for each match to be determined at a later time.
