Ismail Abdel Latif .. The story of the first Arab to score a super hat-trick in the Asian Cup

He tops the list of the Bahraini national team’s historical scorers with 47 goals, which he scored over the course of 126 games. He is jointly top scorer for Bahrain in the Asian Cup with Alaa Habeel, with five goals scored during the 2007 and 2011 editions, including 4 in one match.

He is the Bahraini striker Ismail Abdel-Latif Ismail Hassan, who was born on September 11, 1986 in Muharraq, and started his career with Al-Hala Club, and in the 2007/2008 season he moved to Al-Arabi Kuwait, and participated for the first time with the Bahraini team in the 2006 World Cup qualifiers, where he played against Uzbekistan, ended the season 2006/2007 for the Bahraini League, with 22 goals, which made him the owner of the second largest number of goals in that season. He also scored four goals in the Asian qualifiers for the Beijing Olympics 2008, and scored the vertical goal in the last minute of the Saudi match in the 2010 World Cup qualifiers.

Although Bahrain did not record many participations in the Asian Cup, in the 2004 edition it was able to reach the semi-finals and ranked fourth as its biggest achievement in the tournament, but it scored another achievement when Ismail Abdul Latif succeeded, who scored a goal against South Korea in the 2007 edition of the continental tournament in scoring 4 goals against India in the group stage of the 2011 edition, in the match that ended 5/2 in favor of Bahrain, during the 16, 19, 35, 77 minutes, to score a distinguished number in the history of the tournament as the first Arab to win the title of Super Hat-trick in the Asian Cup.
