Bahraini League: Manama and Muharraq continue the lead race

The Bahraini football league competitions became more exciting after leaders Manama defeated Bahrain 1-0, and second-placed Muharraq defeated Al-Shabab 5-0, leaving the point difference between them at the end of the eighteenth round of the competition.

Manama’s only goal was scored by Ahmed Habib (57 by mistake in his own goal), while the Muharraq quintet scored by Victor Manuel (20, 22 and 64), Solumba (32) and Sufian Mahrouq (78).

Al-Riffa beat Sitra with a goal by Sayed Baqer (87), and Al-Khalidiyah tied with Al-Sharqi Al-Riffa with a goal for the same. Mahdi Humaidan scored for the first (22), and for the second Nigerian Prince (37).

Al-Ahly defeated Al-Badi with two goals scored by Abdullah Al-Bahrani (6) and Jamal Rashid (54) against a goal scored by Frederick Ofori (67), and with the same result Al-Hala defeated Al-Hid, as a goal was scored for the winner Abdulaziz Khaled (30 from a penalty kick and 53) and for the loser Talal Al-Shorouki (86).

1- Manama: 34 points from 17 matches
2- Muharraq: 33 out of 17
3- Al-Khalidiyah: 32 out of 18
4- Sittra: 31 out of 18
5- Riffa: 30 out of 18
