Oman.. Completion of the golden square of His Majesty the Sultan’s Cup

This evening, the golden square of His Majesty the Sultan’s Football Cup was completed, with Al-Rustaq Club qualifying after its positive draw against Oman Club 1/1.

The first-leg match ended in favor of Al-Rustaq 1/0, and in a previous meeting today, Al-Suwaiq qualified at the expense of Al-Bashaer after winning the return match 1/0, and Al-Suwaiq won the first-leg match 3-0.

Yesterday, Al-Nahda succeeded in defeating Al-Orouba on penalties after a marathon match that ended with Al-Orouba winning 3/1.

Al-Nahda won the first leg with the same result, and the return match ended in the regular and extra time, so Al-Nahda won 8/7 on penalties, and Al-Seeb, the defending champion, succeeded in overcoming the hurdle of Al-Shabab and qualifying for the semi-finals after a goalless draw, and the first-leg match ended 1/0  in favor of Al Seeb.

Thus, Al-Seeb will meet Al-Suwaiq, and Al-Rustaq with Al-Nahda in the two semi-final matches that will be held on February 20 and 25.
