Iraq and Oman to the semi-finals of the Gulf Cup 25

The teams of Iraq and Oman qualified for the semi-finals of the Gulf Cup 25, where the Iraqi team succeeded in defeating the Yemeni team with five clean goals to raise its score to seven points, while the Omani team defeated Saudi Arabia with two goals to one.

The Iraqis topped the first group with a draw and two wins, while the Omani team won twice, drew once, and finished second on goal difference.

The goals of the Iraqi team were scored by Mustafa Nazim in the 40th minute, Amjad Atwan in the 64th minute, and Ayman Hussein scored two goals in the 72nd minute from a penalty kick, in the 74th minute, and Hussein Ali in the 87th minute.
The Iraqis dominated the match, which ended its first half with a goal by Mustafa Nazim while adding four goals in the second half.

The Omani team secured the opportunity to advance to the semi-finals by defeating Saudi Arabia, although it needed a tie to reach the aforementioned round, while Saudi Arabia’s chances were dependent on winning only.

The Omani goals were scored by Al Munther Al Alawi in the 34th minute and Hareb Al Saadi in the 84th minute. while the Saudi goal was scored by Turki Al Ammar in the 40th minute of the match.

Iraq will meet the second country in the second group, and the Omani will meet the first in the second group as well, which will be decided on Friday.
