Harvest of the UAE League: Shabab Al-Ahly Dubai takes the lead

Al-Ahly Dubai youth team was alone at the top of the UAE Football League, after it achieved its sixth consecutive victory, by defeating Al-Wasl 2-1 in the framework of the eleventh round competitions, to raise its score to 25 points at the top of the general standings.

Shabab Al-Ahly Dubai took advantage of Al-Wahda’s stumbling, which tied with Khorfakkan 2-2, while Sharjah returned to the path of victories by defeating Ittihad Kalba 4-0, while Al Ain’s confrontation with Bani Yas ended in a 2-2 draw.

The teams scored 23 goals in 7 matches, at an average of 3.82 goals per game, and three teams kept clean sheets.

The results

Al-Ahly Dubai youth team turned its delay against its host Al-Wasl with a goal scored by Gilberto Oliveira (5), to a valuable victory with two goals scored by Youssef Jaber (9) and Igor Jesus (20).

On the other hand, Al-Wehda stumbled against Khor Fakkan, with a 2-2 draw. Joao Pedro scored for the first (90) and Sebastian Tigali (90 + 6), and for the second Elton Morty (3) and Youssef Al-Amri (90 + 8).

Al-Jazira defeated Al-Bataeh with four goals scored by Mabkhout (5 and 23 from a penalty kick), Khalfan Mubarak (45 + 1) and Zayed Al-Amri (90 + 5), compared to two goals scored by Anatole Abang (30 and 72), and Al-Nasr lost to its guest Dibba Al-Fujairah with the goal of Ibrahim Al-Yaqoubi (16).

Sharjah achieved a big victory over Ittihad Kalba by a clean four scored by Issam Camara (21), Luan Pereira (57), Pjanic (76) and Cayo Fernandez (79).

Al Ain tied with Bani Yas with two goals each, scored for the first Andrei Yarmolenko (28) and Kudjo Laba (54 from a penalty kick), and for the second Nicholas Jimenez (31) and Al Mahdi Al Mubarak (36 by mistake).
