Qatar hosts the best tournament in the history of the World Cup

Lusail Stadium witnessed the conclusion of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™️, with an exciting confrontation between Argentina and France, in the presence of more than 88,000 fans, during which the Tango team succeeded in winning the first edition of the World Cup in the Arab world, and for the third time in its history.

The tournament final coincided with the National Day of the State of Qatar, and Messi and his comrades were able to win the title by defeating France on penalties 4-2, after a marathon match whose original and extra time ended in a draw with three goals for both teams, so that the tango team returned to the podium after an absence of more than 36 years. Since Argentina won the cup under the leadership of legend Maradona in the World Cup Mexico in 1986.

The start of the match was preceded by a brief closing ceremony, with the participation of the artists Davido, Aisha, Manal, Belqis, Rahma, Redwan, Ozuna and Game Zunora, performing songs from the official album of the Qatar World Cup 2022, with the lighting of 32 balls resembling celestial bodies decorated with the flags of the countries whose teams participated in the world championship.

The ceremony included the affirmation by two Arab poets, Tamim Al-Barghouti and Mohamed Ould Bemba, on the spirit of football reflected in the tournament, and how football is an alternative world instead of the real world, as humanity is equal in this football world, so there are no differences between the competitors, while the privileges are distributed among everyone equally.

These words embody the relationship between Qatar and the challenges it faced in order to organize an exceptional event such as the World Cup, and shed light on the Qatari insistence supported by the standing of the Arab and international peoples with the right to organize, without double standards or changing measures in judgments, while linking this to verses of Imam Al-Shafi’i in which he refers to the eye of discontent and the eye of contentment, that eye that sees something and turns a blind eye to things according to desire and passion, not according to objective judgment.
