He is the Emirati star Omar Abdul Rahman Ahmed Al Raqi Al Amoudi, who was born on September 20, 1991, to his father, the former football player Abdul Rahman Ahmed Al Raqi.

Abdul Rahman’s first match was against Al-Ahly in the Telecom Cup tournament, and he was named the best player in the Al Ain International U-17 Championship for the years 2008 and 2009.
In 2009 he won the title of best young player and returned and won the title in 2011. He played with the club in the UAE Arabian Gulf Cup for the 2008-2009 season and won the cup. He remained in the first team’s reserve team for five seasons, during which he scored 6 goals and made five and the last match with the Reserve team was in 2012 against victory.
The club also won the UAE Super Cup for the 2009, 2012, and 2015 seasons, and the UAE President’s Cup for the 2008-2009 season, the 2013-2014 season, and the 2017-2018 season.
Abdul Rahman played with Al Ain Club in the Arab Gulf League, and won the cup in the 2011-2012, 2012-2013, 2014-2015, and 2017-2018 seasons. He also played with the UAE youth team in the 2010 Arabian Gulf Cup U-23.
On August 6, 2012, Amouri announced on his personal account on Twitter that he was about to join Manchester City for the experiment, in which he lived with the team for two weeks, during which he played friendly matches and the report came out well, but because of the team’s classification and Al Ain’s refusal to loan him, the deal was not completed.
At the international level, he was called for the first time for the youth team gathering in September 2008, in preparation for the Asian Youth Cup finals, but he was injured and was excluded, but he participated with the Olympic team for the first time in the 2010 Gulf Cup, participated in all confrontations and won the title, then was called up for the youth team in the 2010 Asian Cup, to be his first continental participation, he later won the Asian Games silver with the Olympic team.
Omar Abdel Rahman joined the first team in the 2011 Asian Cup, as the youngest player in the Emirati Al-Abyad squad, and the seventh in the list of the youngest in the tournament. He played his first official match against North Korea in a confrontation that ended in a goalless draw, and the UAE was eliminated from the first round.
