With the participation of five Gulf teams, the 2022 AFC U-23 Cup kicks off next Wednesday in Uzbekistan

Asian football fans are waiting for the fifth edition of the AFC U-23 Cup, which will be held in Uzbekistan from 1 to 19 June, with the participation of 16 teams divided into four groups.

The first group includes the teams of Uzbekistan (the host), Iran, Qatar and Turkmenistan, while the second includes the teams of Jordan, Iraq, Australia and Kuwait, the third includes the teams of South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam, and the fourth includes Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Japan and Tajikistan.
