The Emirates Football Association has provided 5,000 tickets for UAE national team fans who go to Doha to support Al-Abyad in its important match against the Australian team, which is scheduled to be held on the seventh of next June at Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium in Doha.
The match will be held within the Asian play-off to qualifying for the World Cup 2022, after it was presented yesterday by the International and Asian Football Confederations. The provision of this number of tickets comes in the interest of the Football Association to support the national team and its fans.
The Football Association coordinated all aspects related to purchasing tickets with the Asian Football Confederation, which is responsible for organizing the match, as it comes under its umbrella, through the coordination meetings held by the Football Association’s work team with the officials of the Continental Federation during the past days, which also witnessed a discussion of all Logistics aspects and instructions for the fans’ entry to Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium.
Mohammed Abdullah Hazam Al Dhaheri, Secretary-General of the Emirates Football Association, confirmed that the Board of Directors of the Emirates Football Association is keen to motivate the UAE national team during all its matches, and provides it with all the reasons that help it perform its tasks to the fullest, especially in the upcoming Australian confrontation that will be held in Doha because it is crucial, and we are confident that our players and their fans will perform their duties in the best way possible.
The Secretary-General valued the public’s initiatives during the previous periods, stressing that the fans’ support will have a great impact in encouraging Al-Abyad players to give their best. He said: “The public is one of the most prominent partners in the Emirati football, and it was and still is on the covenant, generously supporting the national teams and standing behind them in order to achieve positive results in all the football events in which it participates.”
