Iraq’s Olympic team loses a friendly match against Iran in preparation for the Asian finals
The Iraqi Olympic football team lost, on Tuesday evening, by one goal to its Iranian counterpart, in a friendly match that took place between them at Al-Madina International Stadium in the capital, Baghdad, as part of the two teams’ preparations for the Asian finals for the U-23 teams, which will be held in Uzbekistan early next month.
The second match between the two teams will take place next Friday, 27th of this month, before leaving for the Uzbek capital Tashkent, where the Iraqi Olympic team will play its first match against its Jordanian counterpart on the first of next month in a group that also includes the teams of Australia and Kuwait.
