AFC reveals the logo of the 2023 AFC Asian Cup

The Asian Confederation and the Local Organizing Committee of the 2023 AFC Asian Cup revealed the most important tournament slogan in the continent, coinciding with the opening ceremony of the first hosting stadiums, the 37,000-seat Shanghai Pudong Stadium.

The ten dynamic rays in the logo, emerging from below to form the image of the sunrise from the east, symbolize the ten cities hosting the tournament, and the colors most commonly used in traditional Chinese culture were used.

The teams that qualified for the finals were the Gulf teams, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, and the Sultanate of Oman.
