AFC announces Qatar as a neutral stadium for the matches of Iraq, Lebanon, Oman and Australia

Today, Tuesday, the Asian Confederation confirmed the selection of Qatar to host the match between Iraq and Lebanon in the first group of the final Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup Qatar.

It also decided that Qatar will also host the meeting of Oman and Australia in the second group in the same qualifiers.

This came due to the health conditions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic in Australia, and the inability of Iraq to host international matches on its soil due to the ban imposed for security reasons.
