Five Gulf countries are hosting the double qualifiers

The AFC has announced the host countries for the two Asian World Cup 2022 (Qatar) and 2023 Asian Cup (China) qualifying groups, which will be held in the grouping system from May 31 to June 15 this year.

The Gulf teams are divided into five groups, namely the second, third, fourth, fifth and seventh. Kuwait shall host the second group which includes Australia, Jordan, Nepal, China, and Taipei.

The third group matches will be held in Bahrain which includes the teams of Iraq, Iran, Hong Kong and Cambodia, while Saudi Arabia will host the fourth group competitions which include Uzbekistan, Singapore, Yemen and Palestine.

Qatar will host Group five matches which include Oman, Afghanistan, India and Bangladesh, and Group seven matches will be held in the UAE which includes Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.
