Omani Federation publishes a proposal for the new season competitions

The Oman Football Association has published a proposal for the 2020-2021 competitions, with the season starting on December 3, 2020 and ending on April 30, 2021.

The Omani Federation has set the Omantel League system which will be launched on the 3rd of December by playing the first phase with a one-round league system. The second phase will be played in the group system with clubs divided into two groups according to their order in the first phase, and a one-round league will be played. The champion of the competition shall be determined according to the team with the most points harvested, while His Majesty the Sultan’s Cup competition will begin on the 1st of January.

The first division competition will start at the same time as the Omantel League, while the competitions for the under-15-17-19 year-olds will start on January 1, 2021, with the exception of the U-21 League with its new name (Federation Cup), which will start on December 1, 2020.
