A remontada for Al Hilal and a draw for Al Ittihad away from home in the AFC Champions League

Al Hilal Saudi Club came from behind to achieve an away victory over Iranian Sepahan 3/1, in the match that was held at Naqshi Jahan Stadium in Isfahan, in the first leg of the round of 16 in the AFC Champions League 2023-2024.

Sepahan took the lead with a goal by Ramin Rezaian in the 37th minute, before Al Hilal responded with a hat-trick through Malcolm (57), Aleksandar Mitrovic (90 + 4) and Abdullah Al Hamdan (90 + 7).

Sepahan completed the match with ten players after defender Muhammad Danishkar was sent off in the 76th minute after referring to the video assistant referee technology.

The return match between the two teams will be held next Thursday, February 22, at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium in Riyadh.

On the other hand, the Saudi club Al-Ittihad also tied negatively away from its home stadium with the Uzbek club Navbahor, in a match in which Al-Ittihad had the advantage over the Central Stadium.

The return match will be held next Thursday, at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah.
