Yemen and Saudi Arabia reach the final of the tenth junior championship
The Yemeni and Saudi Arabia national teams qualified for the final match of the 10th West Asian Federation Junior Championship, hosted by the Omani Federation at Al Saada Complex Stadium in Salalah.
The final match will be held at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, Amman time.
The Yemeni team reserved its place in the final scene after the victory it achieved over its Emirati counterpart with two unanswered goals, while the Saudi team after beating the Iraqi team with a score of 2-1 in the two matches that were held on Monday, December 18, 2023 for the semi-finals.
The match between the two teams for the title will be a repeat scenario of the final of the eighth edition, which was held in the city of Dammam, Saudi Arabia, in late 2021, which then ended with the Yemeni team winning its first title at the level of the West Asian Football Federation championships.
The Saudi national team also previously won the title of the seventh edition, which was hosted by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in 2019, which indicates an awaited and exciting match that will bring together the two teams in the debate for the title of the tenth edition.
