The Football Association of the UAE contracts with Portuguese Paulo Bento to lead the first national team
The UAE Football Association contracted with the Portuguese coach Paulo Bento to take over the duties of training the first team for the next 3 years, and the contract with the Portuguese coach was announced during a press conference held at the federation headquarters in Dubai in the presence of Mohammed Abdullah Hazam Al Dhaheri, Secretary General of the Federation, coach Paulo Bento, and media representatives.
The Secretary-General welcomed Coach Pinto in the United Arab Emirates, wishing him and the members of his assistant technical staff success in their new work tasks with the team, indicating that the contract with Paulo Pinto came after reviewing the report of the technical management in the federation, and based on the study of a group of biographies of technical managers, it included a set of statistics and technical foundations that contributed to the selection of the Portuguese coach, for his technical value and long experience, where he previously supervised the training of Portugal and South Korea, in addition to being responsible for training many clubs in Portugal, Greece, China and Brazil.
Perhaps what distinguishes him is his stability and his presence at the head of the technical management of the teams and also the teams that he trained for many years. He was contracted for a period of 3 years to ensure stability and provide the appropriate atmosphere to achieve the ambitions set.
