The Organizing Committee appoints Jassim Al-Jassem as CEO of the 2023 AFC Asian Cup

The Local Organizing Committee for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup issued its Resolution No. (1) for the year 2023 appointing Mr. Jassim Abdulaziz Al-Jassim as CEO of the 2023 AFC Asian Cup. This decision comes within the framework of the committee’s endeavor to start the executive steps regarding hosting the 2023 AFC Asian Cup in Qatar.

It is noteworthy that Qatar national team is the holder of the 2019 Asian Cup, and Qatar will host the most important men’s tournaments in the Asian continent for the third time in its history, after the 1988 and 2011 editions.

It is worth noting that the Executive Office of the Asian Football Confederation has chosen the Qatar Football Association to host the 2023 Asian Cup.
