Oman… Al-Seeb and Al-Nahda reached the final of His Majesty the Sultan’s Cup

The Omani clubs Al-Nahda and Al-Seeb succeeded in reaching the final of His Majesty the Sultan’s Cup, in an upcoming meeting that brings together the defending champion led by the national coach Rashid Jaber, with the ambition to snatch the fifth title, and the leader of the Omantel League for the current season, who is looking forward to his first title in the precious cup under the leadership of the national coach Hamad Al-Azani.

The meeting is a revenge opportunity for Al-Nahda, who lost the Super Cup title last August to Al-Seeb, and it was the last meeting between the two teams in the Omantel League, which ended in a goalless draw.

Al-Nahda reached the final match, overtaking Al-Rustaq, the runners-up of the last edition, as they tied goalless in the first-leg match hosted by Al-Rustaq, while Al-Nahda snatched the second leg with a goal in the final minutes of the match.

While Al-Seeb went up to the closing match after crossing Al-Suwaiq, and the first leg, which was hosted by Al-Seeb Stadium, ended in a goalless draw, while the defending champion succeeded in winning outside its stronghold with three clean goals, which restored the confidence fans in the team, especially with its decline in the Omantel League competition, where it ranks fourth.

It is worth noting that the closing meeting of His Majesty the Sultan’s Cup will be held on March 9 at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher.
