The Lions of Mesopotamia are preparing to meet Lebanon… and Zelikou is waiting for the examination

With the participation of 22 players, the Lions of Rafidain played their last match before facing the Lebanese team tomorrow in the framework of the eighth round of the final Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup Qatar, at Sidon Municipal Stadium.

The match will be held at three o’clock Baghdad time, and the Iraqi mission has conducted tests for the Corona virus, and Zeljko Petrovic is awaiting the result of the tests to determine the formation of Iraq tomorrow.

Today, the pre-match press conference was held via Zoom, gathering the medical and administrative staff for the two teams, and emphasizing the instructions and guidelines for the match.

The meeting will be led by the Jordanian international team, consisting of Ibrahim Makhadmeh, Ahmed Mu’nis, Muhammad Al-Khalaf, and the Qatari Salman Falahi as the fourth referee.
