Omani Bahla is the MG Cup Champion

The Omani Bahla Club was crowned the champion of the MG Cup Football Championship after defeating Oman Club 6-5 on penalties in the match hosted by Al-Seeb Stadium, after the original time of the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

The match witnessed a great performance in the first half, with many missed opportunities, until Abdul Wahed Al Hinai, player of Oman Club, scored the first goals of the meeting in the tenth minute.

After that, Bahla tried to return quickly by launching successive attacks, and they had more than one chance, until the 21st minute, with Hamad Al-Habsi scoring the equalizer.

With the start of the second half, the danger from both sides decreased, with Oman Club having an advantage. The two coaches made several changes to try to hijack the match, but this did not contribute to modifying the result, and the matter ended with the penalty shootout, which smiled at Bahla Club to crown the championship title for the first time in its history.
