AFC Cup knockout round draw results
The draw resulted in exciting confrontations during the knockout rounds of the 2023-2024 AFC Cup.
This came after the draw ceremony held today, Thursday, at the headquarters of the Asian Football Confederation in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur.
Eleven teams qualified from the group stage for the nineteenth edition of the tournament, which began in September with the participation of 36 clubs from across the five regions of the federation.
Before the regional final, Abdish Atta of Kyrgyzstan, champion of the Central Region, will meet with Taichung Futuro from Chinese Taipei, champion of the East Region, while the champion of the ASEAN Region will meet with Odisha of India, champion of the South Region.
The ASEAN region champion will be determined through the semi-final and final matches of the region, which are held in one match.
Two matches before the regional finals are scheduled to be held on March 6 and 7 for the first leg, and March 13 and 14 for the return, with the final being held from two home and away matches on April 17 and 24.
The winner of the regional final qualifies to face the champion of the Western Region, in the final match of the AFC Cup, which will be held on May 5.
The champion of the Western Region will be determined after competing in the semi-finals on February 12 and 13 (first leg), and February 19 and 20 (return), and then the final of two home and away matches on April 16 and 23.
