The number of international federations supporting Saudi Arabia’s hosting of the 2034 World Cup continues to increase

The past few days have witnessed a noticeable increase in support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for organizing the 2034 World Cup, the number of football federations that have confirmed their support for the Kingdom’s candidacy to host the World Cup has reached more than 90 as of yesterday.

This comes just one week after Saudi Arabia announced its intention to nominate to host the 2034 World Cup, and the Saudi Federation announced last Monday that it had sent the official letter of Saudi Arabia’s candidacy to host the 2034 World Cup to FIFA.

Yesterday, a large number of football federations joined the list of federations supporting the Kingdom’s request to host the 2034 World Cup, most notably Greece, which is the fourth European country to support the Saudi bid, along with Tanzania, Gabon, Zambia, Eritrea, Cambodia, Guinea Bissau and Equatorial Guinea.
