Election of His Excellency Jassim bin Rashid Al-Buainain as President of the Qatar Football Association

The General Assembly of the Qatar Football Association elected His Excellency Jassim bin Rashid Al-Buainain as President of the Qatar Football Association for the 2023-2027 election cycle.

The new formation of the Executive Committee came from the members: Hani Talib Ballan (Qatar Club), Mohammed Khalifa Al-Suwaidi (Al-Rayyan Club), Hassan Jumaa Al-Mohannadi (Al-Khor Club) and Khaled Abdullah Al-Sulaiti (Al-Arabi Club), which is the new formation of the Executive Committee of the Qatar Football Association in the coming period for The new election cycle.

The meeting of the Ordinary General Assembly was attended by His Excellency the President and members of the Executive Committee of the Federation, in addition to members of the General Assembly from the 18 clubs, the Qatar Stars League, representatives of Lusail, Al Bidda and Al Waab clubs, Mr. Abdullah Hamid Al Mulla, Chairman of the Electoral Committee, and members of the Committee.

There was also a distinguished presence of the guests, representatives of the International Federation of Football Associations, FIFA, Mr. Hani Abu Raida and Mr. Essam Al-Suhaibani, and the representative of the Asian Football Confederation, Mr. Karim Haidar, who were invited to attend the meeting of the Ordinary General Assembly of the Federation to monitor the electoral process of the Federation, in addition to representatives of Administrations and sections of the Federation and various media platforms representatives.
