The General Assembly of the Gulf Union will be held in Doha tomorrow

The extraordinary General Assembly of the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation will hold a meeting in the Qatari capital, Doha on Thursday to discuss several issues related to the tournament.

It is also expected to agree on the final touches of the necessary arrangements for the organization of the 24th Gulf Federation Cup, which will be held in Doha next November.

Delegations from the Gulf federations, members of the Gulf Arab Football Association, began arriving in Doha, starting Tuesday.

The meeting was preceded by the meeting of the executive office of the Arab Gulf Cup Federation on Wednesday.

It is noteworthy that during the Assembly meeting held last May, HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani was elected President of the Federation for the second session after completing all the documents supporting his candidacy and with the absence of other competitors.

Dr. Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Shukaili, Second Vice-President of the Omani Federation, was also nominated as Vice-President of the Gulf Football Association, after the committee announced that the documents related to his nomination were also completed.
