Walid Al-Hayyam…the career of the Bahraini football teacher

One of the most prominent players in the defense and midfield of Bahraini Red and Muharraq Club, and one of the members of the Hundred Club who played for Bahraini Red. He is also one of the members of the Red Brigade that won the first title in the Gulf Cup (Gulf 24), holder of the title of teacher.

He is the star Walid Muhammad Abdullah Ali Al-Hayam, who was born in Muharraq on February 3, 1991. He began his football career with Muharraq Club in 2009, which is the only club he played for, where he was raised and raised within its walls, and he exceeded a hundred matches with it, achieving many local and Gulf achievements, and played a very short external professional period with the Kuwaiti club Al-Kuwait.

At the international level, Al-Hayam played for all age groups for the Bahraini national teams, while he joined the first team for the first time in 2010, and since then he has been a regular on the Red list, and his name was not removed from any national team list, as he accompanied the team to the 100th match last September, by playing in a match. Al-Ahmar’s friendly match against Turkmenistan in Dubai, during which Al-Hayam wore the captain’s armband and ended in a 1-1 draw. Al-Hayam has played with the Bahrain national team in all the tournaments since 2010, the most important of which are the 2011, 2015, 2019 Asian Cup, the Gulf Cup, the World Cup qualifiers, the West Asian Federation Championship, The Arab Games, and finally the double qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and the 2027 Asian Cup, where Al-Hayam’s journey continues with the Bahraini Red.
