The General Assembly confirms Gulf 24 will be held within the specified dates

His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, President of Qatar Football Association and President of the Gulf Cup Federation, chaired the meeting of the extraordinary General Assembly of the Gulf Cup Federation, which was held on Thursday.

At the beginning, His Excellency welcomed the members of the General Assembly and wished them a pleasant stay in the Qatari capital Doha. The meeting was attended by Dr. Jassim Al-Shukaili, Vice-President of the Arabian Gulf Cup, Jassem Al-Rumaihi, Secretary-General Ahmed Al-Naimi, Assistant Secretary-General, Yemen and Qatar.

The General Assembly meeting dealt with a number of important topics, including the confirmation of the date of the start of the 24th Gulf Championship in Doha during the period from the twenty-seventh of November to the ninth of December.
During the meeting, the judicial committees were selected and the proposed amendments to the tournament system were discussed.

During the General Assembly meeting, the Iraqi Union submitted a request to host the Gulf Championship 25 , which was welcomed by the members of the Assembly and it will be considered at the next meeting of the General Assembly.

The President of the Gulf Union said that the door will remain open to the rest of the members who did not announce their participation until the date of the draw to apply.

At the end of the meeting, the President of the Gulf Cup, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, thanked all the attendees and wished them success in organizing the next tournament with the participation of all members.
