Al-Nahda of Oman loses the first leg of the AFC Cup semi-final to Al-Ahed of Lebanon

The Omani Al-Nahda Club lost the first leg of the AFC Cup semi-final to Al-Ahed of Lebanon 0-1, in the match hosted by Karbala International Stadium in Iraq.

The goal of the match came in the 46th minute of the match, through Al-Ahed star Mohamed Al-Hallaq, from a Walid Shor cross, which Al-Hallaq blocked with his ground foot to the left of Al-Nahda goalkeeper Ibrahim Al-Mukhaini.

The return match, which will decide the side of the West region in the AFC Cup 2023/2024, will be held next Tuesday, hosted by Al-Nahda at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex Stadium in Bawshar, which will face in the final the winner of the two matches of the East final, which brings together Central Coast Mariners and Abdish Atta of Kyrgyzstan.
