King Salman Cup for Clubs.. Muharraq surpasses Al-Seeb, and Al-Wahda and Al-Ahly Tripoli win

The Bahraini Al-Muharraq team overcame the Omani Al-Seeb turn in the King Salman Cup for Clubs 2023, by winning 5-4 on penalties, after the two teams exchanged victory with the same score 2-0 in the home and return matches.

In the return match, Al-Seeb Al-Omani achieved a victory with two goals without a response, scored by the player Abdulaziz Al-Muqbali, so the two teams resorted to penalty kicks, which ended in favor of Bahraini Muharraq.

In another match within the first leg of the first round of the tournament, the Emirati Al Wahda won by three goals without a response, at the expense of the Lebanese Al Burj, The goals of Al-Wahda were scored by Alaeddin Zuhair, Mateus Pereira and Joao Pedro, before the return match between the two teams on April 8, to decide who qualified for the next stage.

Within the first-round first-leg stage as well, Al-Ahly Tripoli of Libya defeated its host, Al-Tala’a Al-Jaysh, 2-1, before the return match between the two teams on April 11, the goal of Al-Tale’a Al-Jaish was scored by Karim Tariq, while the double of Al-Ahly Tripoli came by Mohamed Mounir and Ali Maatouk.
