The Asian awards the Emiratis Baron and Al Hosani with the Medical Excellence Award

The AFC honored the candidates of the UAE Football Association, Dr. Abdullah Hassan Baron, and Dr. Reema Al-Hosani, with the silver and bronze awards within the AFC Medical Excellence Awards, on the sidelines of the AFC Sports Medicine Conference, which will be held in the Qatari capital, Doha, from 4 to 6 March.

Dr. Abdullah Hassan Baron was chosen as the doctor of the Olympic team and won the silver award for medical excellence for his career and practical experience that extends for more than twenty years in the field of sports medicine, as he worked as a doctor for national teams and many local clubs during that period.

Dr. Rima Al-Hosani was chosen to win the Bronze Award for Medical Excellence for her service of more than 15 years in the same field, where she worked as Vice-Chairman of the Sports Medicine Committee of the Football Association previously.

The AFC Medical Awards aims to recognize the efforts of medical staff to provide the best possible care and ensure players perform at an optimal level, and in recognition of the contribution of these professionals to the development of football.
