UAE.. 8 clubs compete to qualify for the semi-finals of the President’s Cup

Eight teams compete to qualify for the semi-finals of His Highness the President’s Cup, where four matches will be held on Monday and Tuesday, to determine the teams qualified for the next round.

On the first day, two matches will be held, as the Ajman and Al-Bataeh teams will open the quarter-final matches at 5:30 in the Rashid bin Saeed Stadium in the Ajman Club, while Shabab Al-Ahly will host Al-Ain at the Rashid Stadium at 8:30 in the evening.

The first match on Tuesday will bring together the Bani Yas and Al Wasl teams at the Bani Yas Club Stadium at five and 35 minutes, and in the second match, Sharjah will welcome its guest Al Jazira at eight thirty in the evening at the Sharjah Club Stadium.

It is noteworthy that the matches of the current stage are played by the knockout system from one match, where the winner qualifies for the semi-finals, during which the home and away system is applied, in order to determine the two teams qualified for the final match.

The Emirates Football Association completed its arrangements for the best way to bring out the quarter-final matches of the most expensive cups competition, as the Football Association’s Competitions Committee held during the past days technical and coordination meetings for the four matches, in the presence of federation officials and representatives of the participating teams.
