AFC Youth Cup 2023: Oman loses 4-0 to South Korea

South Korea national team defeated Oman 4-0 on Thursday at Jar Stadium in Tashkent, in the first round of the third Group competitions in the AFC U-20 Youth Cup 2023 in Uzbekistan.

Kim Young-hak (30), Song Jin-young (34 and 58) and Kang Seong-jin (90 + 2) scored the winning goals for South Korea.

The second round of group competitions will be held on Sunday, when Jordan will meet South Korea, and Oman will meet Tajikistan.

The first two teams from each group qualify for the quarter-finals, whose matches will be held on March 11 and 12.

It is noteworthy that the teams that finish in the first four places in the tournament qualify for the FIFA U-20 Youth World Cup 2023 in Indonesia.
