Defending champion Al-Sadd achieved its fifth consecutive victory when it overcame Al-Gharafa 3-1, while Al-Rayyan rained down Al-Ahly goal by 4-0, Qatar beat Al-Wakra 2-1 and Al-Sailiya tied with Umm Salal 1-1, and the round witnessed the scoring of 18 goals in 6 matches, with an average of 3 goals per match.
