With the aim of revenge and historic qualification, the Asian leader faces the Flamengo
Today, the semi-final confrontations of the Club World Cup, which is currently being held in Morocco, will start with the Saudi Al-Hilal match and the Brazilian Flamengo, and Argentine Ramon Diaz hopes to take revenge against Flamengo, who defeated the leader 3/1 in their previous confrontation in the semi-finals of the 2019 edition of the tournament.
Al-Hilal began its career in the Club World Cup by defeating Moroccan Wydad by penalty kicks 5/3, after the match ended in a 1/1 draw.
Al-Hilal is looking forward to becoming the first Saudi team to reach the Club World Cup final and the first Asian team to qualify for the final since Japan’s Kashima Antlers achieved that achievement in 2016.
Al-Hilal recorded a strong presence in the Club World Cup, where it qualified for the semi-finals in its third participation, after the 2019 and 2021 editions, and is also looking forward to a new number represented in being at the forefront of the list of Asian teams that score the most goals in the Club World Cup, as it scored 11 goals in its participation record to occupy the second place in the list of the most scored Asian teams in the Club World Cup, by two goals, behind Kashima Antlers of Japan.
