Hani Ballan: The opening of Khaleeji Zain “25” in Basra was very beautiful.

The Chairman of the Zain 25 Gulf Referees Committee expressed his happiness at the success achieved by the organizers in opening the tournament, which was impressive, while the attendance, whether at the official level or by the large public, which crowded the stands of the Palm Trunk Stadium, was normal and not surprising given that the Iraqi fans are loving and passionate about football.

Ballan appreciated the great role played by the organizing committees, competitions, referees, and media in order to come up with a successful result for the tournament, while the fans will wait for the artistic paintings that the participating teams will present, which they will enjoy after an absence of more than 40 years since the last tournament hosted by Iraq in 1979.
