The Omani Red wins the Syrian experience in Dubai

The Oman national team beat its Syrian counterpart with two goals to one in the friendly match that was held at Shabab Al-Ahly Stadium in Dubai, as part of its preparations for the 25th Gulf competitions in Iraq early next month.

Oman started the meeting with a formation consisting of Fayez Al-Rashidi in the goalkeeper, Ahmed Al-Khamisi, Fahmy Durbin, Amjad Al-Harthy and Ahmed Al-Kaabi, in the midfield, Hareb Al-Saadi, Musaab Al-Maamari, Yazid Al-Maashani and Mahmoud Al-Mashafri, and in the forefront were Essam Al-Subhi and Al-Mundhir Al-Alawi.

The Syrian national team entered the meeting with a formation consisting of Ahmed Madaniyeh, Ahmed Al-Saleh, Abdul-Razzaq Muhammad, Youssef Al-Hamwi, Ahmed Al-Shamali, Karam Omran, Sobhi Shofan, Ahmed Al-Ashqar, Ahmed Al-Dali, Muhammad Rihaniyya and Alaa Al-Dali, and the team is led by coach Hossam Al-Sayed.

The first half ended with Oman advancing with the goal of Issam Al-Subhi, and in the second half Moataz Saleh Abed Rabbo scored the second goal before the Syrian team reduced the score through Ahmed Al-Ashqar, so that the match ended with a score of 2-1, and the two teams will repeat the confrontation on December 30.
