Next Saturday, the 2023 Saudi Super Cup draw

Next Saturday, December 24, the draw for the Saudi Super Cup 2023 will be held with its new system, in the presence of representatives of the participating clubs Al-Fayhaa Al-Hilal, Al-Ittihad and Al-Nasr. The draw ceremony was decided to take place in the studios of SSC sports channels in Riyadh at exactly eight o’clock in the evening, while the matches will be held in the assembly system in Riyadh, during the period from January 24-29 next.

The Saudi Football Association had decided earlier to adopt the new system for the tournament by holding it from three matches instead of one match, so that it starts from the semi-final round; with its new system, the Super will bring together the champion of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup and his runner-up, and the champion of the Roshen Professional League and his runner-up. In the event of a repeat team, participation will take place according to the ranking table, with the aim of raising the level of competition and expanding the participation base due to the high marketing value of the tournament.
