Yemen and Saudi Arabia qualify for the Arab Junior Cup semi-finals

The contract of those who qualified for the semi-finals of the 2022 Arab Cup for Juniors, which will be held in the Algerian city of Oran until September 8, was completed, after the Saudi and Moroccan teams defeated Iraq and Egypt, respectively, on Friday evening.
At Mostaganem Stadium, the Saudi team won 4-1 against the Iraqi team, which was scored by Hassan Jassem, while the Saudi team’s quartet came through Talal Hajji (hat trick) and Nawaf Al-Jadaani (single goal).
Also at Mostaganem Stadium, Morocco defeated Egypt with two goals without a response, scored by Abdel Hamid Maali and Naer Ayman.
Previously, Algeria and Yemen qualified for the semi-finals of the Arab Junior Cup 2022, after Algeria won 3-1 on penalties against Tunisia, after the original time of the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
Also at Mostaganem Stadium, Yemen won 1-0 against Sudan, scored by Anwar Al-Tariqi from a penalty kick to lead his teammates to the semi-finals.
The teams qualified for the semi-finals will have a negative rest on Saturday and Sunday, before the semi-final matches on Monday.
With these results, the Saudi team will meet with its Algerian counterpart, while the Moroccan team will play with Yemen, next Monday, in the semi-finals.
