He is the Qatari star and ambassador for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, Mubarak Mustafa, who is famous for Al-Sinari. He won many championships and titles with the Qatari national team, where he was crowned the 11th Gulf Cup scorer with 3 goals, which was hosted by Doha. He was also chosen as the best player at the age of 21.

The former Qatari football star is considered the only Gulf player to win the International Olympic Committee for Fair Play in 2005, in recognition of his high morals, as he only received one red card throughout his football career, and it was by mistake from the referee who apologized to the player after the match. He won the ideal player award and good example in Gulf 16 in Kuwait in 2003.

Mubarak Mustafa was born on March 30, 1973. He started his sports career with the mother of games at a very young age, specifically in the 400m race, especially as he enjoyed great speed, but he switched to playing football, and joined the buds of the Qatari Arab Club in 1985, and was included in the teams of the Sunni groups all the way to join the first team and was only 19 years old at the time.

His high speed helped him dodge the players to start his career with the round witch in the center of the defender before changing to the right-back position, and then in the wing position, and when he was promoted to the first team in the Arab Club in 1990, he was involved in the center of the spear head, to start shaking the opponents’ net.

Mubarak participated in 7 Gulf Cup tournaments, and the start and end was in Doha (Gulf 11, and even Khaleeji 17). He won the Gulf Cup twice with Al Annabi in 1992 and 2004.

The 1992 Barcelona Olympics was a good start for him with the Qatari team, after his effective contribution to reaching the quarter-finals in the Olympics, after his precious goal from a header, against the Egyptian team’s goal (1/0), to pave the way for Annabi to qualify for the second round for the first time in history.

He also played a pivotal role in the Qatari team Al Arabi, which finished runners-up in the 1994 AFC Champions League.

Mubarak Mustafa wore the shirt of the Kuwaiti Al-Arabi Club in 1998, on loan from the Qatari club Al-Arabi, in order to compete in the final of His Highness the Emir’s Football Cup against Al-Qadisiyah. Mubarak made the first goal for Malek Al-Qallaf, and scored the second goal by himself against Al-Qadisiyah and won the award for the best player.

Mubarak played in the ranks of the dream team in the Arab Club for more than 13 years, during which he won many championships and titles, including 5 league championships, 3 Qatar Emir Cup championships, and 2 Qatar Crown Prince Cup championships with Al Arabi 97 and Al Khor 2005.

He moved to the Qatari ranks of Al Khor in 2003, and played with the Qatari Al Gharafa in 2006 until he retired from football permanently in 2007.
