The committee also discussed the organizational procedures for media matters for the 25th Gulf Cup, as well as the logistical arrangements for the official media delegations.

The media committee specializes in many tasks, including: drawing up a unified media policy for the tournament and transmitting its activities through various media, by urging the media in the participating countries to promote the tournament in accordance with its lofty sporting goals and marketing the necessary publicity for it.

It is necessary to take into account that each of the participating teams obtains its right of media coverage on the same level of equality between itself and the other participating teams, in addition to focusing on avoiding publishing, displaying, broadcasting or circulating any talk or article that does not serve the objectives of the tournament.

Working to educate the sports fans about everything that is purposeful and away from excitement and fanaticism, and not to publish what could badly increase the enthusiasm of the masses, and this also relates to not publishing complaints and protests that teams may submit and to leave these issues to the relevant committees for consideration and making appropriate decisions about it.

The committee has the right to determine the number of media delegations for each country participating in the tournament. It is also interested in holding media awareness sessions and seminars accompanying the tournament’s activities for media professionals and setting a program of press conferences for coaches before and after the session, in addition to naming media coordinators for the matches.
