Representatives of the Gulf federations flock to Basra to attend the draw for Gulf 25

Today, Monday, the delegation of the Qatar Football Association, which included Hani Ballan, member of the executive office of the federation, Mansour Al-Ansari, Secretary-General, and Fahd Thani, Director of the Development Department, arrived to attend the 25th Gulf Cup draw to be held tomorrow, Tuesday, at the Grand Millennium Hotel in Basra.

The Gulf delegations were received by the Secretary-General of the Iraqi Federation, Muhammad Farhan, and the advisor to the Governor of Basra, Aqil Talib.

The delegations of the participating countries have flocked to Basra Governorate, since last Saturday, with the arrival of Khaled Al-Kuwari, head of the Qatari media delegation. The Secretary-General of the Bahrain Football Association, Lt. Col. “Rashid Al-Zoubi”, a member of the Competitions Committee in the Gulf Football Association, “Qutayba bin Saeed Al Ghailani” and a member of the Media Committee of the Gulf 25 Championship “Ahmed Mahdi Mirza” also arrived on Saturday to Basra, to attend the draw for Gulf 25.

On Sunday, the Secretary-General of the UAE Football Association, Vice-Chairman of the Competitions Committee of the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation, “Mohammed bin Hazam Al Dhaheri”, and members of the committee, “Ahmed Al-Harmi” from Qatar and “Khaled bin Muqrin” from Saudi Arabia, also arrived.

Also arriving in Basra were members of the media committee for the 25th Gulf Championship, “Salem Al-Naqbi” from the UAE, “Faisal bin Yousef Al-Tuwaiher” from Saudi Arabia, and Moaz Al-Khamisi from Yemen.

The delegation of the Kuwaiti Federation also arrived, consisting of Vice President of the Kuwait Football Association Ahmed Oqla, Board Member Abdulaziz Al-Samhan, Secretary General Salah Al-Qena’i, Director of Media and Public Relations Sattam Al-Sahli, as well as team manager Saud Al-Majmd, former referee Muhammad Bagh, and former player Jamal Mubarak, and the director of the union, Mohamed Ali Seif.
