Chairman of the Iraqi Federation Futsal Committee: Our qualification to the Asian Cup finals came with merit

The head of the Futsal and Beach Committee, Ali Abdul-Hussein, confirmed that the qualification of the Iraqi national futsal team to the Asian Cup finals hosted by Kuwait was well-deserved.

Abdul-Hussein said: The players of the Iraqi national team, their technical staff, and the administrative and medical staff have proven that they are up to the challenge, achieving the goal and winning the qualification ticket to the finals, leading the second group.

He praised the performance of the national team players in the two matches against the UAE and Bahrain, as they were a strong and distinguished rival, and through the two matches, we gained a victory, a draw and the qualification card.

The head of the Futsal and Beach Volleyball Committee expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Minister of Youth and Sports, the President of the Iraqi Football Association, Adnan Darjal, and the members of the federation for meeting the requirements for preparing the national team and contracting with the Iranian technical staff led by the expert coach, Mohammad Nazem Al-Nazif, and participating in the three national teams’ training camps and the Asian qualifiers, as well as Djal’s permanent question on the national team and his emphasis on the importance of the achievement achieved in Fujairah, UAE.

He concluded his speech by emphasizing the importance of the role of the Supervisor of the Futsal and Beach Committee, member of the Football Association, Yahya Zughayer, who spared no effort to provide everything that would make the national team’s mission successful and its presence at the head of the mission.
