A consultative meeting between the heads of the Gulf federations on the sidelines of the FIFA Congress in Doha

HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani chaired the consultative meeting between the heads of the Gulf federations and their representatives, on the sidelines of the meetings of the 72nd FIFA Congress, which was held in the Qatari capital, Doha.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that the Arabian Gulf Cup will be held in its twenty-fifth edition in the Republic of Iraq in Basra.

He urged His Excellency the President of the Federation to adhere to the criteria for hosting the tournament, and to confirm the completion of all matters related to hosting in the coming period, no later than the 30th of June of this year. He affirmed his support and the support of the members for this hosting, and wished success to the brothers in Iraq.
