Al-Jazira goalkeeper: The loss against Al-Hilal was harsh
Ali Khaseef, goalkeeper of Al Jazira club, confirmed in statements carried by the UAE Federation website that the team’s participation in the Club World Cup in Abu Dhabi should be a gateway to continue building for the future, and not stop at the loss against the Saudi Al Hilal, by seeking to support the young elements, which formed the largest number of the team’s list, and keenness to finish the journey in the best possible way, against the Mexican Monterrey meeting in fifth place.
Khaseef admitted that the loss against Al Hilal was a harsh result, but, as we congratulate the brothers, and wish them to move forward in the tournament, we apologize to our fans, and we promise them that the next will be better, through the benefit that will accrue to the group as a whole, and the experience that the players, who participate in for the first time, will have. Once in this global event, in order to enhance their aspirations to move forward to achieve more ambitions, whether with Al-Jazira or the national teams.
