The Organizing Committee of the Amir Cup Final announces guidelines for fans ahead of the upcoming match at Al Thumama Stadium

The Organizing Committee of the Amir Cup Final announced a set of instructions for fans during the upcoming match next Friday at Al Thumama Stadium, one of the stadiums of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, to ensure that everyone enjoys the event, and has a smooth experience during the announcement of the readiness of the sixth stadiums that will witness the World Cup competitions next year.

A fan card is mandatory to attend the match

The Organizing Committee of the Amir Cup Final stated that all fans must apply for a fan card, which is mandatory to attend the match, and it is a smart identification card that allows the fan to enter the stadium and use public transportation, including the Doha Metro, free of charge on the day of the match.

Those wishing to attend the match can apply for a fan card via the website: https://ac21.qa/home, and the card will reach the fan via Qatar Post for free within 48 hours, and issuing the card requires purchasing a seat voucher before starting the application. Seat vouchers via the website: tickets.qfa.qa in denominations of 20, 50 and 100 QR.

In addition to the website; The service of purchasing seat vouchers and receiving the fan card is available at the Qatar National Convention Center daily from 10 am to 11 pm, provided that the Qatari ID or passport is presented, and the “Ehteraz” application is presented to confirm that the fan has received the full dose of an anti-Covid-19 vaccine or recovering from illness.

All fans are required to present their fan card and seat voucher at the gates to be admitted to the stadium, and assistance with fan tickets for the Prince’s Cup is available via the hotline: 8008052 (00974) or email: [email protected].

Precautionary measures to prevent covid-19

Attendance at the match is limited to those who have received the full dose of an anti-Covid-19 vaccine, provided they receive the second dose before October 7, 2021, or who have recovered from infection after October 21, 2020, and fans under the age of 12 can attend the match provided that a quick examination is carried out to detect COVID-19 virus within 24 hours before the start of the match, and submit the negative test result at the stadium gates, noting that the examination service is not available at the Qatar National Convention Center.

The organizing committee of the Amir Cup final calls on all fans to wear masks and adhere to physical distance in the stadium, and advises not to attend the match for individuals most vulnerable to complications from the disease, regardless of receiving the vaccine or recovering from infection with the virus, such as the elderly, those with chronic diseases, and three years old or younger children.

Getting to the stadium

Fans can head to Al Thumama Stadium using their own vehicles, taxis or public transportation. The stadium gates are scheduled to open three hours before the start of the match, and the stadium’s parking spaces are available four hours before kick-off.

As for fans wishing to reach the stadium via public transport; The fan card will provide the ability to use the Doha Metro, or public buses heading to Al Thumama Stadium, as well as buses designated to transport fans between the metro station and the stadium on match day for free, four hours before the start of the match and one and a half hours after it ends.

Metro users must reach the free zone station located on the red line, then go to the stadium in the buses designated to transport the public, noting that the bus transfer from the metro station to Al Thumama Stadium takes about 15 minutes.

Fans wishing to use taxis should proceed to the designated taxi area, which is located on Medina Street to the east of the stadium.

Public parking

Al Thumama Stadium is located along the Doha Expressway between E-Ring Road and Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor. Fans coming to the stadium in their own vehicles can use the public car parks located along the Sabah Al-Ahmad Corridor on the western side, between the intersection of Doha Expressway and the industrial area road intersection, and along the northern side of the Industrial Area Road, between the intersection of Sabah Al-Ahmad Corridor and the intersection of Doha Expressway.

To reach the stadium by private vehicles; Fans can go through the Sabah Al-Ahmad Corridor, then to the first exit and follow the signs to reach the car parks, or through the Doha Expressway and Rawdat Al-Khail Street, and exit towards the Industrial Area Road, and then turn around and follow the signs to the parking lots, noting that the transition from Public parking to the stadium takes 25-40 minutes on foot.

Parking for people with disabilities, media and VIP visitors, and hospitality suites (Skybox)

The parking spaces for people with disabilities, media, senior visitors and fans who hold hospitality suites seat vouchers (Skybox) are located on the western side of the stadium, and can be accessed via the road adjacent to the northern side of Doha Expressway between Sabah Al-Ahmad Corridor and E-Ring Road intersection, then follow the directional signs to reach the yard for vehicles, it takes about 7 minutes on foot to move from these parking lots to the stadium.

Guest seats parking

Fans holding hospitality seat vouchers can use the parking lot on the northern side of the stadium, along the western side of the E-Ring Road between Asad Bin Ain Al Furat Street and Mesaimeer Street, and it takes about 7 minutes on foot to move from these parking lots to the stadium. For 40,000 fans, the sixth stadium is ready to host the first World Cup competitions in the Middle East and the Arab world, after Khalifa International Stadium, Al Janoub, Education City, Ahmed Bin Ali, and Al Bayt.
