Oman’s beach soccer team bid farewell to the World Cup Russia 2021, early from the first round, and Al-Ahmar won its first and only victory in the tournament before leaving for Muscat, in its third meeting against Senegal 3/2, which is only the third victory in 4 previous participations for the Omani team.

This came after the unexpected loss that Al-Ahmar suffered against Uruguay, the third of South America, 4-2, in it’s second confrontation, while expectations indicated their superiority compared to what happened in the first round, as they narrowly lost against Portugal, the defending champion, while the Teranga lions tore the Uruguayan net 6-1.
