FIFA ranking of the Gulf teams for the month of May 2021

The International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) issued the classification for the month of May for the year 2021, which has undergone only one change for the Gulf teams – the advance of the Bahrain team to one place.

Whereas, the Qatari team maintained the best positions for the Gulf teams as the 58th in the world and the 5th in Asia, followed by the Saudi team as the 65th in the world and the 6th in Asia, then the Iraqi team as the 68th in the world and the 7th in Asia.

The UAE national team ranked 73rd globally and 8th in Asia, Oman 80th globally and 11th in Asia. Bahrain advanced one position to become 98th globally and 16th in Asia, followed by Yemen which maintained the same 145th position globally and 28 in Asia, and then Kuwait in the same position as the 148th globally and the 29th in Asia.
