The administration of the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation set next year as the date of the preliminary meeting of the committee to study the files for hosting the 25th edition of the Arab Gulf Cup next year.
The Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation approved, at the emergency meeting held last February, the committee to study the files for hosting the next edition of the tournament which is headed by the Federation’s Vice-President, Dr. Jassem Al-Shukaily.
During the meeting, the files proposed by the members to host the next edition of the Arab Gulf Cup in its 25th edition will be studied.
It is noteworthy that the Bahraini team was crowned champion of the Gulf Cup in its 24th edition which was hosted by the Qatari capital, Doha, from 26 November to 9 December 2019. It is the first title in the history of Bahraini football after they defeated the Saudi team with a goal without response.
